Sponsor Shout-out Template

Use to thank a sponsor — at signing, mid-season, after a sponsored round, or as part of an end-of-year wrap. Fill in Inputs, then ask Claude to draft the three versions.

Inputs

  • Sponsor name: full business name
  • Tier: Major / Principal / Match-day / Supporter / In-kind
  • What they do: one-line description of the business
  • Location: suburb / address / online
  • Years supporting MKFC: e.g. “3rd season with the Roos” or “new for 2026”
  • What their support funds: jumpers, ground hire, junior program, canteen gear, etc.
  • Owner / contact name: if they want to be named
  • Call to action: visit / book / quote “MKFC” for discount / follow their page
  • Links & handles: website, Facebook, Instagram
  • Occasion: signing, sponsored round, anniversary, end of season

Voice notes

  • Genuine thanks, not transactional. Sponsors keep community footy alive — say so.
  • Lead with what they do for the club, not with a sales pitch for them.
  • Name the owner / family if they’re locals — relationships matter more than logos.
  • Don’t oversell. One clear CTA is better than three.
  • Refer to the brand guide — sponsor logo must not exceed the visual weight of the MKFC logo in any graphic.

Facebook version (target 100–180 words)

Structure:

  1. Opening thank-you line, naming the sponsor and tier.
  2. What the business does + where (one or two sentences).
  3. What their support funds at the club — be specific (e.g. “their backing covers the senior guernsey run for 2026”).
  4. Years with the club / personal note about the owner if appropriate.
  5. Call to action: visit, book, follow, mention MKFC.
  6. Closing line: “On behalf of every Roo, thank you.” (or similar)
  7. Tag the sponsor’s Facebook page.

Instagram caption (target 50–100 words)

Structure:

  1. Hook: “Big thanks to [Sponsor] — [one-line descriptor].”
  2. One sentence on what their support means for the club.
  3. CTA: where to find them.
  4. Tag handle.
  5. Hashtags: #MKFC #GoRoos #SponsorSpotlight #SupportLocal #CommunityFooty + sponsor-relevant tag.

Image guidance:

  • Co-branded tile: royal blue #013087 background, white MKFC logo on the left, sponsor logo on the right, light blue #C8D6F0 divider between them.
  • Sponsor logo never larger than the MKFC kangaroo — see brand guide § Sponsor placement.
  • For a photo post: owner / staff in front of their business, ideally holding a club scarf or guernsey. Alt text required.
