John Riddock, Moorabbin Kangaroos Reserves Coach

The Moorabbin Kangaroos Football Club is delighted to announce that John Riddock has recommitted as Reserves Coach for a further two seasons, extending his tenure through the 2027 and 2028 campaigns.

John is a long-time and much-loved figure at Moorabbin, having given many years of service to the club in various roles. His deep knowledge of the club, its history, and its people has made him one of the most respected voices around the ground, and his commitment to developing players in the Reserves has been invaluable to the club’s on-field success and culture.

“John is the heart and soul of this football club,” the Club President said. “Everyone who has come through our Reserves side knows how much he cares — about the football, but just as much about the players as people. Having him locked in for another two years is a huge win for the club.”

Known for his easy-going manner, sharp footy brain, and genuine care for every player who pulls on the boot, John continues to be a mentor and role model both on match day and around the club rooms. His popularity among players, coaches, and supporters alike is a testament to the years of dedication he has poured into Moorabbin.

Everyone at the Moorabbin Kangaroos congratulates John on his recommitment and looks forward to another two years of his steady hand guiding the Reserves.
