The Moorabbin Kangaroos Football Club is delighted to announce that Matt Ferguson has recommitted as Senior Coach for a further two seasons, taking his tenure through the 2027 and 2028 campaigns.

Since taking the reins for the 2026 season, Matt has quickly become a cornerstone of the club. His approach on and off the field has earned him enormous respect and trust from the playing group and committee alike, and his leadership has been a driving force behind the positive culture growing around the club.

“Matt has brought a real sense of belief and unity to the group this year,” the Club President said. “The way the players have responded to him speaks for itself. Locking him in for another two years gives us the stability and direction we need to keep building.”

Matt’s commitment provides the club with continuity heading into the coming seasons and reflects the strong foundation being laid at Moorabbin. Players and supporters can look forward to the same energy, standards, and vision that have defined his first season in charge.
